2022 jubilarian priest Mass to be June 28

Bishop Anthony B. Taylor will celebrate a Mass of thanksgiving Tuesday, June 28 to honor four priests who are celebrating 25, 50 and 60 years of priestly service in the Diocese of Little Rock. It will be held at the Cathedral of St. Andrew in Little Rock at 5:30 p.m., followed by a dinner reception in McDonald Hall. The public is invited to attend the Mass and dinner. Reservations are not required. 

Jubilarians are Father Henry Bordeaux, OCD, 60 years; Father Mark Stengel, OSB, 50 years; and Fathers Peter Le-Thanh Quang and Polycarp Ssebbowa, 25 years. Father Bordeaux will not be able to attend because he was recently assigned by his provincial (religious superior) to serve in San Antonio, Texas. His previous assignment was to Marylake Monastery in Little Rock.

Eighteen senior priests also will be honored for their service to the diocese.

They are: Msgr. J. Gaston Hebert, PA, Msgr. Richard Oswald, Father John Oswald, Father Alan Rosenau, Father Andrew Smith, Father Clayton Gould, Father Edwin Graves, Father Henry Mischkowiuski, Father Jon McDougal, Father Joseph Pallo, Father Kevin Atunzu, Father Nho Duy "Dominic" Do, Father Pius Iwu, Father Stan Swiderski, Father Thomas Keller, Father James Fanrak, Father Thomas Marks and Father Mike Sinkler.
