"Only with prayer — prayer that storms the heavens for justice and mercy, prayer that cleanses our hearts and our souls — will the culture of death that surrounds us today be replaced with a culture of life." — Pastoral Plan for Pro-Life Activities: A Campaign in Support of Life, U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops
Bishop Anthony B. Taylor will lead a Rosary for Life at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 11 as part of the fall 40 Days for Life campaign in Little Rock. All are invited to join him in prayer across the street from Little Rock Family Planning Services, the abortion facility located at #4 Office Park Drive. For more information, contact Catherine Phillips, diocesan respect life director, at (501) 664-0340, ext. 326.
The 40 Days for Life ministry highlights prayer, fasting and a peaceful, prayer vigil outside an abortion facility to pray for an end to abortion. The fall campaign, which is being held worldwide, began in Little Rock and Hot Springs on Sept. 25 and continues through Nov. 3. The prayer vigil is held each day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
In Little Rock, participants are asked to park at the Crafton and Tull building on Financial Parkway and Hermitage. Do not park on Office Park Drive.
