This event is sponsored by the Office of Faith Formation. Jeff Hines, director, organized these events, to "gain a deeper understanding of the meaning of Christ’s gift of himself in the Eucharist, and our response to his gift." Each Formation Day will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and include presentations from priests and catechists, small group discussion, lunch and Mass. The cost is $10 per person.
Register online, or download and return the form (PDF format) via email to Jasmine Hogan, or mail to: Formation Day, Faith Formation Office, P.O. Box 7565, Little Rock, AR 72217-7565 by the registration deadline for each location. The fee includes lunch and is payable by cash or check to the Diocese of Little Rock. Payment may be sent with registration in advance or paid upon check-in at the event. For more information, contact Jasmine Hogan at (501) 664-0340, ext. 323.
Parish leaders unable to attend in one of these events at an Arkansas parish may sign up for a similiar, online event for catechists from the Augustine Institute. Bishop Andrew Cozzens, chairman of the USCCB Committee on Evangelization and Catechesis, covers the "The Mystery of the Eucharist in the Life of the Church," and more in this free, two-hour online course.
