Many Gifts One Nation Day of Giving
From 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29 the Many Gifts, One Nation Day of Giving will be held allowing donors to give to any participating Catholic school of their choice during that 24-hour period online. To donate, visit the Day of Giving donation page, click on the search button and select a diocese or school. Donors may also choose to give to the Arkansas Catholic Schools Scholarship Appeal by clicking on the red button above.
Catholic Schools Week will be observed nationwide Jan. 26 to Feb. 1. Catholic schools will celebrate the week with special Masses, open houses and other activities for students, families, parishioners and the community. Through these events, schools focus on the value Catholic education provides to young people and its contributions to the Church, communities and the nation. The National Catholic Education Association's Many Gifts, One Nation: A Day of Giving to Catholic Schools campaign, in partnership with FACTS Management, will be held from 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29. During this 24-hour window, individuals may donate online to the participating Catholic school or diocese of their choice with Visa, Mastercard and Discover.
To donate, visit the donation page, click on the search button and select a diocese or school. One hundred percent of each donation goes to the school or diocese chosen. You may also give to the Catholic Schools Scholarship Appeal to help fund scholarships for students to attend a Catholic school in Arkansas.
Nearly 1.8 million students are currently educated in 6,289 Catholic schools nationwide. Ninety-nine percent of Catholic school students graduate from high school and 86 percent of Catholic school graduates attend college. This percentage has been consistent for more than 20 years.
