Religious educators honored for service

Two parish religious educators were honored during the annual Parish Catechetical Leaders' Banquet and Retreat at St. John Catholic Center in Little Rock on Jan. 15-16. Belinda Ortner, director of religious education and Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults coordinator for St. Anne Church in North Little Rock, was recognized for 20 years of service, and Kelli Nugent, director of religious education at St Edward Church in Texarkana, was recognized for 25 years of service. This event was sponsored by the Diocese of Little Rock Office of Faith Formation.
