Attributes of God focus of Bible Institute

"A Lively Sense of God: Treasuring the Old Testament Witness to God" is the theme of the 2018 Bible Institute June 15-17 at St. John Catholic Center in Little Rock. Brother John Barker, OFM, will be the featured speaker. This Scripture professor at the Catholic Theological Union in Chicago gives biblically-related lectures, presentations and retreats throughout the United States.

Brother John will speak throughout the weekend about God as a God of promises, fidelity, power, wisdom and mercy. In addition to his presentations, the Bible institute also includes prayer, small group discussion and Mass. Check-in begins at 5:30 p.m. Friday, June 15 with the opening session at 7 p.m. The weekend concludes after the 11:15 a.m. Mass on Sunday, June 17. The number of participants is limited. The registration deadline is Friday, June 1. To register, download and return the registration form with fees to the address provided.

The $125 registration fee includes three meals on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday, but does not include housing. Participants may reserve on-campus rooms in Fletcher Hall at the time of registration. Single occupancy is $40 per night and double occupancy is $50 per room ($25 per person) per night.
