The theme for the 2019 Bible Institute is: “Surprise, Shock and Gospel: Re-Interpreting the Parables of Jesus.” Father George Smiga, STD, will be the keynote speaker. The deadline to register is June 7. This annual event allows participants from around the country to learn from a respected Catholic biblical scholar in at atmosphere that is welcoming and relaxed on the grounds of St. John Catholic Center in Little Rock. The schedule focuses on one biblical theme or book and includes presentations, prayer, small group faith sharing and discussions with the speaker and Mass.
