The 82nd annual Arkansas Catholic Schools Professional Day will be held Friday, Sept. 28 at Christ the King School in Little Rock for Catholic school principals and teachers in Arkansas. This year's theme is: “Come and See.”
Msgr. Francis Malone, diocesan chancellor for ecclesial affairs and pastor of Christ the King Church, will begin the program by celebrating Mass for participants at 9 a.m.
Sister Patricia McCormack, IHM, of Formative Support Services in Philadelphia, will be the featured speaker. This international consultant, speaker and doctor of education will focus on “Being the 'I' in Evangelize.”
Following lunch, break-out sessions will be offered on the following topics: Catholic identity, innovative teaching methods and programs, use of technology in the classroom, classroom management, school safety, grade level discussions and more.
