One Church: Unite Arkansas in Faith & Mission

2024-25 Partner: Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Lincoln

We invite you to join One Church: Unite Arkansas in Faith and Mission, an initiative in the Diocese of Little Rock that began in 2018 to help a mission church in our diocese for a 12-month period that needs a one-time boost to become a thriving community. This year’s partner is Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Lincoln, a small, bilingual community in Washington County. A pharmacy was converted into a Catholic church for them in 2018, but the storefront church is inadequate, with no place for faith formation classes. | Learn More.

A 150-seat Presbyterian church recently closed in town, and the former minister approached pastor Father Martin Siebold with buying the church for his young community. A deal for $90,000 was agreed upon. The seven classrooms will allow the church to better serve the 60 children in first grade through confirmation. | Leer en español.

With support from One Church, Sts. Peter and Paul Church will repay its loan and renovate the church and classrooms to meet their needs. This includes a new roof, updated bathrooms, the addition of a sacristy and confessional and repairs to the bell tower and stained-glass windows. | FAQ
