Retrouvaille to help marriages virtually

Do you feel lost, alone or bored in your marriage? Are you frustrated, hurt or angry with your spouse? Are you constantly fighting? Or, do you simply shut down? Have you thought about separation or divorce? Does talking about it only make it worse?
Retrouvaille is available to help, heal and renew your troubled marriage. It consists of a weekend and 12 post-weekend sessions over a three-month period focused on communication between husband and wife. The word, "Retrouvaille" (Re-tro-vi) means "rediscovery." Therefore, it offers couples the chance to rediscover themselves, their spouse and a loving marital relationship.
It is not a retreat or a sensitivity group. There are no group dynamics or group discussions. During the weekend, a series of in-depth presentations are given by one of three married couples and a priest. Each presentation focuses on a specific area of the marital relationship and is followed by a period of reflection. Discussion between spouses takes place in complete privacy.
Even if you are thinking of separation or divorce or you are already separated or divorced, but want to try again, Retrouvaille can help you. Although it is a Catholic program, married couples of other faiths are welcome.
The next Retrouvaille weekend will be Oct. 22-25 online via Zoom. Registration and deposit of $175 per couple is due by Oct. 11. During weekend a donation will be requested to cover the remaining cost for the weekend and follow-up sessions. No couple is turned away because of financial difficulties. Retrouvaille is sponsored by the Family Life Office in the Diocese of Little Rock. Weekends are normally held in person twice each year, but this event is being virtually to safeguard against COVID-19.
